The Rotary Club of Kirksville is proud to support our community partners and future healthcare leaders! We recently donated $375 in matching funds to A.T. Still University’s SAMOPS Club (Student Association of Military Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons) to support their efforts in raising funds for Retrieving Freedom — an outstanding organization that trains service dogs for veterans and children with special needs. 
These funds were part of a matching gift for the SAMOP's K9 1K fun walk held on May 3rd on the ATSU campus. The event not only brought awareness to the critical role service dogs play in the lives of those they assist but also showcased the commitment of ATSU students to service and community engagement beyond the classroom.
We’re incredibly inspired by the initiative of the SAMOPS Club and were honored to help amplify the impact of their work. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the next generation of compassionate leaders.
